Indian Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel won today's inaugural Indian Grand Prix in the Red Bull followed by Jenson Button in the McLaren and Fernando Alonso in the Ferrari rounded out the podium.

Vettel's teammate Mark Webber finished fourth, Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg finished fifth and sixth respectively in the Mercedes, Button's teammate Lewis Hamilton finished seventh, Jaime Alguersuari finished eighth in the Toro Rosso, Adrian Sutil finished ninth in the Force India, while Sergio Perez rounded out the points in the Sauber.

With the 60-lap dash at the Buddh International Circuit on the outskirts of New Dehli being F1's first foray into India, it produced a largely boring race but I still hope F1 has a bright future in India as a market of 1.2 billion people can hardly be overlooked.

The next race is the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina Circuit in two weeks time.

On to Abu Dhabi.

Korean Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel won the Korean Grand Prix in the Red Bull while Lewis Hamilton in the McLaren finished second with Vette's teammate Mark Webber rounding out the podium.

Hamilton's teammate Jenson Button finished fourth, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa finished fifth and sixth respectively in the Ferrari, Jaime Alguersuari finished seventh, Nico Rosberg in the Mercedes finished eighth, Alguersuari's teammate Sebastien Buemi finished ninth, and Paul di Resta rounding out the points in the Force India.

The race was entertaining with many battles for various positions although it was too bad many more races were not like this before the title was clinched by Vettel.

The next race will be the inaugural Indian Grand Prix on the outskirts of New Dehli.

On to India.

Japanese Grand Prix

Jenson Button won today's Japanese Grand Prix in the McLaren, Fernando Alonso in the Ferrari finished second, and Sebastian Vettel in the Red Bull rounded out the podium by finishing third.

Vettel's teammate Mark Webber finished fourth, Lewis Hamilton finished fifth in the McLaren, Michael Schumacher finished sixth in the Mercedes, Alonso's teammate Felipe Massa finished seventh, Sergio Perez finished eighth in the Sauber, Vitaly Petrov finished ninth in the Renault, and Schumacher's teammate Nico Rosberg finished tenth.

The 53-lap race started off uneventfully but the last half of the race was more exciting as Button, Vettel, Alonso, and Hamilton were constantly fighting for the lead. Even Schumacher led briefly until he had to pit.

The result also meant that Vettel clinched the World Championship and became the youngest driver to win back-to-back titles.

The next race is the Korean Grand Prix at Yeongam next Sunday.

On to Korea.
