2005 Monaco Grand Prix

Kimi Raikkonen of Finland won the 63rd Monaco Grand Prix and pretty much led from start to finish the 78-lap dash through the streets of Monte Carlo. I always love watching this race because it is one of the most challenging races of the season in my opinion. Nick Heidfeld of Germany was second in the Williams-BMW and his teammate Mark Webber of Australia was third. Championship leader Fernando Alonso was fourth. Defending champion Michael Schumacher of Germany was seventh in the Ferrari while Canadian Jacques Villeneuve was eleventh in the Sauber. The next race is on Sunday with the European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring in Germany.
