German Grand Prix



Fernando Alonso won the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim in the Ferrari with his teammate Felipe Massa finishing second and Sebastian Vettel rounding out the podium in the Red Bull. The McLarens of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button finished forth and fifth respectively, Vettel's teammate Mark Weber finished sixth, Robert Kubica in the Renault finished seventh, the Mercedes of Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher finished eighth and ninth respectively and Kubica's teammate Vitaly Petrov finished tenth in the 67-lap race.

With the results, Lewis Hamilton maintains his lead in the Driver's Championship with 157 points, Button with 143 points, both Red Bull drivers at 136 points each, Alonso at 123 points, Rosberg at 94, Kubica at 89, and Massa at 85. McLaren leads the Constructor's Championship with 300 points, Red Bull at 272, Ferrari at 208, Mercedes at 132, and Renault at 96.

The next race is next Sunday with the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest. On to Hungary.
