Korean Grand Prix

Fernando Alonso won today's inaugural Korean Grand Prix in the Ferrari with McLaren's Lewis Hamilton finishing second and Alonso's teammate Felipe Massa finishing third. Michael Schumacher finished fourth in the Mercedes, Robert Kubica finished fifth in the Renault, Vitantonio Liuzzi finished sixth in the Force India, Rubens Barrichello finished seventh in the Williams, Kamui Kobayashi finished eighth in the Sauber and his teammate Nick Heidfeld finished ninth, with Barrichello's teammate Nico Hulkenberg rounding out the top ten.

The race was filled with plenty of suspense and excitement with the 55-lap race at Yeongam featuring many safety cars, a lengthy delay because of the rain and the race being stopped on lap 5 before restarting again, a crash that took out Mark Webber in the Red Bull (and Nico Rosberg in the Mercedes with it), and an engine blowup by Webber's teammate Sebastian Vettel.

With the results of the race, Fernando Alonso moves into the lead in the driver's title with 231 points, Webber with 220, Vettel with 206, McLaren's Jenson Button with 189, Massa with 143, Kubica with 124, and Rosberg with 122. The constructor's title have Red Bull still in the lead with 426 points, McLaren with 399, Ferrari with 374, Mercedes with 188, and Renault with 143.

The next race is in two weeks with the Brazilian Grand Prix. On to Brazil.
