Today's German Grand Prix at Hockenheim saw Fernando Alonso in the Renault take the chequered flag. Kimi Raikkonen in the McLaren-Mercedes didn't finish the race due to mechanical failure. The only McLaren to finish the race was Juan Pablo Montoya who finished second. Jenson Button in the B.A.R.-Honda finished third while Jacques Villeneuve in the Sauber finished in fifteenth even though he retired on lap 64 of the 67-lap race. As Michael Schumacher didn't win the race, I consider it a nice birthday present.
The next race is next Sunday with the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring in Budapest.
