Yesterday's United States Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was a complete farce for F1 and perhaps set back efforts to win over fans of the series in the United States for quite some time. For those of you who aren't aware of the situation, 7 out of the 10 F1 teams boycotted the race due to issues with their Michlein tires with only Ferrari being the major team competing in the race. Michael Schumacher ended up winning the race. Only 6 cars participated in the race and all 6 drivers finished the race. It certainly is a sad day for F1 and for its fans. With yesterday's debacle, the future of the U.S. Grand Prix is in doubt with reports of fans wanting their money back although I don't know how that will be carried out in the end.
The next race is on July 3rd with the French Grand Prix at the Circuit de Nevers in Magny-Cours.
