2007 Hungarian Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton won Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix in the McLaren-Mercedes after a controversial qualifying session the day before which saw Hamilton's teammate Fernando Alonso initially win the pole only to see it stripped from him hours later due to some tactics he employed which impeded Hamilton. Alonso finished fourth. Kimi Raikkonen finished second in the Ferrari while Nick Heidfeld finished third in the BMW-Sauber. Jenson Button scored another DNF in the Honda after winning the race last year.

With the results, Lewis Hamilton maintains his lead in the championship race with 80 points, Fernando Alonso with 73 points, Kimi Raikkonen at 60 points leap frogging his Ferrari teammate Felipe Massa who remains at 59 points after finishing thirteenth. The next race will be in less than three weeks with the Turkish Grand Prix just outside of Istanbul.
