2006 San Marino Grand Prix

Michael Schumacher won yesterday's San Marino Grand Prix at Imola, Italy in the Ferrari (boo-urns, boo-urns), with Fernando Alonso finishing second in the Renault, and Juan Pablo Montoya finishing third in the McLaren-Mercedes. Jenson Button finished seventh in the Honda, while Jacques Villeneuve finished twelfth in the BMW-Sauber.

As much as I like Jenson Button and would love to see him win some races, I have my doubts as to whether or not he'll win his first career race this season since he's good in qualifying sessions where he averages second on the starting grid but he ends up running a lowsy race. I just don't think he's got the car to win any races this season. I guess that will have to wait until next season. I'm not much of a Michael Schumacher fan so I didn't care much to see him win the race. They tend to be more interesting and fun to watch when he's a non-factor.

The next race will be in two weeks time with the European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring in Germany.
