2007 Chinese Grand Prix

Kimi Raikkonen won today's Chinese Grand Prix in the Ferrari, while Fernando Alonso finished second in the McLaren-Mercedes, and Raikkonen's teammate Felipe Massa finished third. Alonso has cut his teammate Lewis Hamilton's lead in the world championship from 12 points to just four after Hamilton scored his first DNF of the season (and of his F1 career) when he "beached" his car on lap 31 of the 56-lap race. Also of note was 20-year old Sebastian Vettel in the Toro Rosso finishing in fourth place. Jenson Button finished in fifth in the Honda, while Nick Heidfeld finished seventh in the BMW.

With one race remaining, Hamilton sits at 107 points, Alonso at 103 points, Raikkonen at 100 points, and Massa at 86 points. The last race which will decided the driver's championship will be the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos (just outside of Sao Paolo) in two weeks time.
